Day 1 - KYIV

 

Arrival transfer to the hotel, check in the hotel.


Day 2 - KYIV

Breakfast in hotel.

09:00-13:00

Kiev tour: the tour includes visit St. Sophia Cathedral the oldest temple in KYIV . You will see St. Michael Church, St. Andrew's Church a striking piece of baroque architecture of XVIII c. The tour continues along Andriivskyi Uzviz (Descent) that starts from St. Andrew's Church. This short street will impress you with its unique atmosphere. Shopping.

14:30-18:00

Visit Ukrainian folk art museum. The Museum's collection consists of 15,000 items from the sixteenth to the twentieth century’s. The textiles collection, department of creative heritage, the collection of paintings and drawings, collection of folk pottery, folk paintings, collection of folk music instruments.

Master-class (2 hours) of pysanka craf. There are Ukrainian artists who uphold this pysanka age-old tradition in modern Ukraine. Many of the old and recent pysanky are to be found in museums and in private collections, both in Ukraine and abroad. Egg as a universal symbol.

Day 3 – KYIV

The tour to the National KYIV-Pechersk Caves' Monastery Historical and Cultural Reserve. The monastery was set up in the mid XI century A.D. It is one of the most ancient monasteries on the territory of Eastern Slavonic states. During this tour you will visit underground labyrinths of caves with mummies of monks, Museum of Treasures displaying the rich Scythian Gold collection and collection of the Judaic ritual silver objects XVIII - XX centuries, Museum of Microminiature.

Optional: Visiting Nation Opera of Ukraine for watching ballet.


Day 4 – KYIV - Ivano-Frankovsk

08:00-10:00

Breakfast in hotel.

12:00-17:00

Out-of-town excursion to peasant's «Hata of pan Savka». Here family of «pan Savki» will meet you bread and salt in traditional costumes and will present sights of the «domains». Will tell about ancient traditions of process of making home-made vodka on the example of age-old distiller. In dining room will be serve Ukrainian borsch, vareniki, maslenichnye pancakes, will be given in ceramic tableware you, and as devices are wooden spoons. You will be able to rest from city fuss in nature's lap and to meet with sights of the ancient Ukrainian village. Duration of excursion – 5 hours. (Lunch included)

Transfer to airport. (Dinner take out in box). Flight Kyiv – Ivano-Frankovsk (20:40 – 21:55).

Transfer to Kolomyia town. Check in the hotel.


Day 5 – Kolomyia

Participation in Pysanka festival. The program of festival include:

-          visit Pysanka Museum (Easter eggs) is listed in the Guinness Book of Ukraine

-          Master-classes from famous artists of pysanka art and not only

-          Fair of Ukrainian crafts

-          Musical and dancing performance

-          dramatized show ect.

Day 6 - Kolomyia

08:00-09:00

Breakfast in hotel

9:00 – 13:00

Bus tour to Yaremche - a resort town, which is above the swift river Prut between Carpathian Mountains. You will see Church of St. Michael and the Church of St. Apostle Elijah, a waterfall "Probiy", located on the Prut River - a beautiful piece of nature with cascading waterfalls. Visit the souvenir bazaar, where you can purchase amazing creations of local artisans.

13:00 – 14:00

Departure to Bukovel - the largest ski resort in Ukraine, the rise of the elevator.

Journey "to crystal waterfalls ..." with a visit to Zhenetskogo waterfall at the foot of Homyak. Return to Kolomyia.

Day 7 – Ivano-Frankovsk – Simferopol – Bakhchisaray - Yalta

05:00 – 11:00

Transfer to airport. Flight Ivano-Frankovsk – Simferopol. (6:35 – 11:00)

11:00 – 14:00

Meeting at airport with guide. Transfer to Bakhchisaray. Lunch in local restaurant

14:00 – 16:00

Excursion to Hansarary (The Khan's Palace), succession home of the Crimean Khans in Bakhchisaray. The fountain is known as the embodiment of love of one of the last Crimean Khans, Qurim Giray Khan for his young wife.

16:00 – 18:00

Transfer to Yalta. Check in the hotel. Dinner in local restaurant. Free time.


Day 8 – YALTA

8:00 – 9:00

LIVADIYA PALACE

The Livadia Park is one of the oldest and best-laid landscape parks of Crimea. It covers the territory of more than 40 hectares. The Great palace constructed in the Renaissance style with Byzantine, Arab and Gothic elements. Most exquisite are the interiors revealing common artistic design of the decoration items which testifies to the high professional skills of the workers and talent of the architect. You make walk on a solar track from an Oreanda up to Livadia palace, visit a museum in the White palace where in 1945 there was Stalin, Roosevelt, Churchill's meeting.

Excursion to « FEATURES OF NATIONAL TASTING …» Wine-Yard «Massandra»

We invite you to tasting of the best Crimean faults which have received at the world competitions two cups of Grand-Pix and 207 gold and silver medals. In the program there will be visiting of a main plant in «Massandra», will see well-known enotec and on the termination of excursion, tasting of the well-known wines.

Day 9 – YALTA

Excursion to VORONTSOVSKIY (ALUPKINSKIY) PALACE-MUSEUM

One of the main Yalta`s tourist attractions. Vorontsovskiy or Alupkinskiy palace is the unique architectural and artistic creation, the masterpiece of architecture, the result of labor of thousands of serfs, driven off from seventeen provinces of pre-revolutionary Russia, where the estates of one of the richest landowners of that time - count M. S. Vorontsov's - were found.

Lunch at the Italian restaurant   “Swallow’s Nest”

This excursion also includes the visiting of the Swallow's Nest - a fairy-tale castle, perched at the top of a sheer cliff on Cape Ai-Todor, about 10 km west of Yalta. Built in 1912 for Baron Steingel, as German oil magnate, it's now an Italian restaurant.

Day 10 – YALTA - KYIV

Breakfast carry out. Transfer to Simferopol airport with guide

Flight Simferopol – Yalta. Arrival to Kiev. Flight from Kiev.
